My point exactly. Or maybe approximately.

In fact, I'm not in the least interested in "normal" and "normality". There's nothing new there, everybody's done it all before (far too many times!), and I really can't see much point in doing "normal" all over again. The point, surely (and here speaks one who grew up in the 60s) is to be different, to push a boundary or two, to go where no man (or woman) has gone before, to make a discovery, shine a light...

A few pics from yesterday's Convolvulus shoot that don't fit into other threads:

Nothing very unusual about this except that close observation will show that the over-shoulder bits have three strands of rope instead of two. That's because I have now invented three-strand ropework. Western bondage is single-strand and a bit crude. Japanese bondage is double strand and wonderful in every way. harper's new three-strand style is therefore even more magnificently fantastic.

I really like that one with the bamboo poles, great rigging, but the girl makes it excellent. Nice one.

"The girl" is UK model Sammie B, aka "The Bondage Boomerang" because she keeps coming back for more of what she calls our "physical challenges". This was her sixth Convolvulus shoot, and the first in which we've done two suspensions in a day (see Guests cannot see links in the messages.
